Over the past 25 years, Belgian DJ Rakesh’ career has taken him around the world and across many music styles. As one of the most versatile DJs in the business, he has reinvented himself countless times as the world evolved from 12 inch records to mp3s and back again. Whatever the format, he can get the party started like no other.

When it comes to music, he doesn’t fit one box. His style is eclectic, including anything from old school hip hop to deep house, and from lounge to disco. He feels the crowd and gives them the music they need, often mashed up in unexpected ways and remixed on the fly. There will always be some Michael Jackson, but never any commercial EDM.

He has mixed at many different places for so many different crowds: from clubs to festivals and private party’s all over the world; from loungy beaches to exclusive bars; from back-to-back sets to allnighters. He is the rare breed of DJ who can truly handle it all.

In Belgium, he was resident at the legendary Culture Club alongside 2 Many DJs and Pete Herbert,tony touch,Maseo,The Glimmers,Norman Jay,Tlp,Tiga,Claptone,Netsky,Dimitri From Paris and many more .
Is currently resident DJ at the infamous nightlife spot Charlatan. He has played big festivals around the world, like Tomorrowland (Belgium), Pukkelop (Belgium) and Love Parade (Chile). Finally, he has headlined clubs like Mojo Club (St Barths), Season Lodge (Zanzibar) The Amazing Full moon party’s at KENDWA ROCKS (Zanzibar) Pacha (Sharm el Sheikh), Latex Club (Cairo), Simbad (Hurghada) and many, many more all over Europe, South America,Azia and Africa.
